In line with our conviction to promote sustainability and to act in a responsible and entrepreneurial manner, the PBS Holding Group supports numerous initiatives and organisations for sustainable action and is active in various sustainability-related initiatives.
We are particularly concerned about children and young people, who are known to suffer most from social inequality.
Donations in kind to various aid organisations, schools, kindergartens and children’s facilities are just as much a matter of course for us as, for example, unbureaucratic help for business partners in need. In the case of one of our suppliers, where both the production hall and the warehouse burnt down in 2020, the Austrian company Logitek stepped in as a helper within a very short time and temporarily took over the logistics for a large part of the brands.
The Polish PBS Connect Polska has a charitable focus on social and childcare institutions. The Czech unit OfficeO also supports, among others, social institutions for disadvantaged people such as, “Good Angels” and the association “Cangaroo”.
The Slovak Lamitec provides support for educational institutions.
The Slovenian Biroprodaja sets clear social accents by supporting community institutions.
Sheltered workshop – as we are aware of our social responsibility as a company, we work together with sheltered workshops and also enable impaired fellow human beings to enter everyday working life. During regular consultations between the board of directors and representatives of the sheltered workshops, the potential, further training opportunities and development status of the colleagues concerned are discussed.
